St. Paris Federation of Churches

Get to know more about what makes us different.

We are blessed in St. Paris to have what we call the Federation of Churches.  Each church in our St. Paris village comes together to be unified in our mission to serve the people of our community together.  The Federation works together to do what no one church could do alone.  Some of the events the Federation oversees includes: Community Thanksgiving Eve Service, Community Easter Egg Hunt, Community Good Friday Service, Community Easter Sunrise Service; Community Vacation Bible School, the Federation Food Pantry, and many other things.

The Federation meets periodically throughout year at different churches.

Please contact us for more information and how you can be part of this great group of people.

Community Thanksgiving Meal

Each Thanksgiving the Federation of Churches alongside others in our community host a Thanksgiving Meal so that no one may eat alone. The meal started many years ago to give those who did not have a family gathering they could or wanted to go a place to experience community and enjoy a Thanksgiving feast. The churches of the Federation provided most of the items for the meal and a dedicated team of volunteers prepare, serve, deliver and clean up the meal. The meal is typically held at Graham Elementary School and we are grateful for the partnership with Graham Schools to help us host this event each year.

The meal is always Thanksgiving day from 12Noon until 1:30pm at Graham Elementary School on US Route 36.

The leadership team for this meal starts meeting around September of each year. If you are interested in being part of the team or to volunteer please call 663-4335 or email pastor@fbcstparis.com.

To RSVP for the meal please go here each year: www.fbcstparis.com/thanksgiving

Programs and Ministries for Children: VBS and Easter Egg Hunt

Each Spring on the Saturday before Easter the Federation of Churches hosts an Easter Egg Hunt for all children up to grades 5. There are hundreds of eggs filled with candy and special prize eggs for kids to "find" and then go home happy.

In July every year the churches also come together for a 5-day Vacation Bible School (VBS). A dedicated group of volunteers pick out a curriculum theme and then members for local churches, all background checked, lead our kids. VBS is held at Temple St. Paris and Sacred Heart Catholic Church on East Walnut Street from 6-8pm; Monday through Friday. Online registration is available each year. Look on social media by following "St Paris VBS" on Facebook or by clicking any of the links below. Other member churches also have social media presence and we all cross share this important event.

Financial Assistance

The Federation of Churches is committed to help give a "hand up" to those in need and never just a "hand out".  We have limited funds but we seek to help those in the Graham District with a one time a year financial assistance on a case by case basis. To start the process of requesting assistance please contact us at 937-663-4335. Please note our policy is to investigate any request for assistance then at least two pastors must "sign off" on any request before the need may be met. Typically this will require a couple days for us to go through the process.
