Where does Jesus rank? By even asking the question we are already on a path which may lead to trouble. What do you say when you re scared? Many times we say whatever comes into our brains, which afterwards we realize was not the best.
Our passage, Mark 9.1-13, highlights both of these questions and reminds us that Jesus cannot be compared to anything or anyone else. He stands alone! Since he stands alone we can trust His word but we must do the hard work of hearing what He says.
